Section 4 Web analytics

1. Use of Google Analytics

(1) This Website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyse how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is normally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address is abbreviated in advance by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states that are signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA where it is truncated. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, compile reports on website activities and provide other services for the website operator in regard to the use of the website and the Internet.

(2) The IP address relayed by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not linked to other Google data.

(3) You can prevent cookies from being stored by configuring your browser software accordingly. However, please note that, if you do so, you may not be able to use all of this website’s functions in full. In addition, you can prevent Google from recording the data generated by the cookie and linked to your use of the website (including your IP address). You can also prevent Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This means that IP addresses are further processed in an abbreviated form so that they cannot be associated with individuals. If the data gathered about you include a personal reference, this will be immediately excluded and the personal data will thereby be erased immediately.

(5) We use Google Analytics in order to analyse the use of our website and make regular improvements. We can use the statistics thus obtained to improve our website and make it more appealing to you as the user. In exceptional cases where personal data are transferred to the USA, Google complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Article 6 (1) Sentence 1 lit. f of the GDPR.

(6) Third-party provider information: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, fax: +353 (1) 436 1001.
User Conditions: http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html
Overview of data protection: http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/learn/privacy.html
and privacy policy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

(7) This website also uses Google Analytics to analyse the flow of visitors across all devices by means of a user ID. If you wish to deactivate this multi-device analysis of your usage, you can do so via the "My data", "Personal data" section of your customer account.

Section 5 Use of social media plug-ins

(1) We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn. This involves the use of what is known as the "two-click solution". This means that when you visit our website, personal data will not normally be forwarded initially to the provider of the plug-ins. You can identify the plug-in provider by the marking on the box above his logo or initial letter. We enable you to communicate directly with the plug-in provider by means of the button. The plug-in provider will not receive the information that you have visited a particular page of our website, unless you activate the plug-in by clicking on the field indicated and thereby activating it. The data specified under Section 3 of this Privacy Policy will also be transmitted. In the case of Facebook, upon declaration of the corresponding providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, your personal data are therefore transmitted to the particular plug-in provider who stores them (i.e. American providers in the USA). Because the plug-in provider collects data primarily by means of cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies from your browser before clicking on the greyed-out box. You can do this via your browser's security settings.

(2) We have no influence over the collected data and data processing protocols, nor do we know the full scope of data collection, the purposes of its processing or the applicable storage periods. We also do not have any information regarding the plug-in provider's erasure of the collected data.

(3) The plug-in provider stores the data collected from you in the form of usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the tailored design of his website. This analysis is carried out (even for users who are not logged in) especially to display tailored advertising and inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these usage profiles. You must exercise this right with the plug-in provider in question. Through the plug-ins, we enable you to interact with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our website and make it more appealing to you as the user. The legal basis for use of the plug-ins is Article 6 (1) Sentence 1 lit. f of the GDPR.

(4) Data are transferred irrespective of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider or whether you are logged in there. If you are logged in o the plug-in provider, the data we collect from you will be assigned directly to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you click on the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider will also store this information within your user account and will publicly share it with your contacts. We recommend that you routinely log out of a social network after use, especially prior to activating the button, because that way you can prevent the plug-in provider from assigning data to your profile.

(5) Further information regarding the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the following Privacy Policies of these providers. These Policies also provide further information regarding your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy.

Section 6 AddThis bookmarking

(1) Our websites also contain AddThis plug-ins. These plug-ins enable you to bookmark pages or share interesting content with other users. Through the plug-ins, we enable you to interact with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our website and make it more appealing to you as the user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Article 6 (1) Sentence 1 lit f. of the GDPR.

(2) Your Internet browser uses these plug-ins to establish a direct connection with the AddThis servers and, if necessary, the selected social network or bookmarking service. The recipients are notified that you have accessed the specific page of our website and receive the data specified in Section 3 of this Privacy Policy. This information is processed on the AddThis servers in the USA. [We have agreed standard data protection clauses with AddThis.]. If you send content from our website to social networks or bookmarking services, a connection can be established between your visit to our website and your user profile of the network in question. We have no influence over the collected data and data processing protocols, nor do we know the full scope of data collection, the purposes of its processing or the applicable storage periods. We also do not have any information regarding the plug-in provider's erasure of the collected data.

(3) The plug-in provider stores these data in the form of usage profiles and uses these data for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the tailored design of its website. This analysis is carried out (even for users who are not logged in) especially to provide tailored advertising and inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these usage profiles. You must exercise this right with the plug-in provider in question.

(4) If you do not want to take part in this process, you can opt out of data collection and storage at any time by setting an "opt-out cookie" on your computer with future effect: http://www.addthis.com/privacy/opt-out. Alternatively, you can adjust your browser settings to disable cookies.

Section 7 Integration of Google Maps

(1) We use Google Maps on this website. This means that we can show you interactive maps directly on the website and allow you to use the map function at your convenience.

(2) When you visit the website, Google is informed that you have called up the corresponding sub-page of our website. The data specified under Section 3 of this Privacy Policy will also be transmitted. This information is transmitted regardless of whether Google provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want data to be assigned to your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google saves your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the customised design of its website. This analysis is carried out (even for users who are not logged in) especially to provide tailored advertising and inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. You you must exercise this right with Google.

(3) Further information about the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the provider's Privacy Policies. These Policies also provide more information about your rights regarding this topic and your setting options for protecting your privacy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Section 8 Use of Google AdSense

(1) This website uses the online advertising service Google AdSense, which enables the display of advertising tailored to your interests. The benefit of this to us lies in showing you advertising that could be relevant to you, thereby making our website more interesting to you. To this end, the service collects statistical information about you, which is then processed by our advertising partners. These advertisements can be recognised from the label "Google Ads" in the relevant advertisement.

(2) When you visit our website, Google is informed that you have called up our website. Google does this by using a web beacon which places a cookie on your computer. The data specified under Section 3 of this Privacy Policy will be transmitted. We have no influence over the collected data, nor do we know the full scope of data collection or the storage periods. Your data are transmitted to the USA where they are analysed. If you are logged in to your Google account, your data can be assigned directly to this account. If you do not want data to be assigned to your Google profile, you must log out. These data may be passed on to Google's contractual partners, third parties and authorities. The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6 (1) Sentence 1 lit f of the GDPR. This website does not enable any advertisements from third-party providers through Google AdSense.

(3) There are numerous ways in which you can prevent Google AdSense from installing cookies: a) By selecting the relevant setting in your browser software. In particular, suppressing third-party cookies ensures that you do not see any advertisements from third-party providers; b) By deactivating Google's personalised advertisements via the link http://www.google.de/ads/preferences, though please note that this setting is removed ifyou delete your cookies; c) By deactivating the interest-related advertisements of the providers, which are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign, via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, though please note that this setting is removed if you delete your cookies; d) By confirming permanent deactivation in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers via the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that, in this case, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions on this website.

(4) For more information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and processing, as well as further details of your rights in this regard and possible settings to protect your privacy, please contact: Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA; Data Protection Policy for Advertising: http://www.google.de/intl/de/ policies/technologies/ads. Google complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Section 9 Use of Google Adwords Conversion

(1) We use the services of Google Adwords to promote our attractive offers with the help of advertising (known as Google Adwords) on external websites. In relation to the data from the advertising campaigns, we can gauge how effective the individual marketing measures have been. The benefit of this to us lies in showing you advertising that is relevant to you, in order to make our website more interesting to you and make a fair calculation of advertising costs.

(2) Google delivers this advertising by means of so-called "Ad Servers". This is why we use Ad Server cookies, which enable us to measure specific success parameters, e.g. insertion of the advertisements or the number of user clicks. If you access our website via a Google advertisement, Google AdWords stores a cookie on your PC. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and will not to be used to identify you. This cookie normally stores the following information as analysis values: the unique cookie ID, the number of advertisement impressions per placement (frequency), the most recent impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (indication that the user does not wish to receive any further communications).

(3) These cookies enable Google to recognise your Internet browser later on. If a user visits certain pages on the AdWords customer's website and the cookie saved on that user's computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer will be able to identify that the user has clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to that page. Every AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked by AdWords customers across websites. We do not personally collect or process any personal data in the performance of the specified advertising measures. We only receive the statistical evaluations provided by Google. We can use these evaluations to determine which of the utilised advertising measures are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data gathered from the use of advertising; in particular, we cannot identify the users from this information.

(4) As a result of the marketing tool used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence over the scope and further use of the data that Google collects through the use of this tool. We therefore wish to inform you about the following according to the current state of our knowledge: the integration of AdWords Conversion provides Google with the information that you have accessed the corresponding section of our website or clicked on one of our adverts. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or you are not logged in, there is still a possibility that the provider may discover and store your IP address.

(5) There are numerous ways in which you can opt out of this tracking process: a) By selecting the relevant setting in your browser software. In particular, suppressing third-party cookies ensures that you do not see any advertisements from third-party providers; b) By deactivating the conversion tracking cookies by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain
"www.googleadservices.com", https://www.google.de/settings/ads, though please note that this setting is removed if you delete your cookies; c) By deactivating the interest-related advertisements from the providers, which are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign, via the link http:// www.aboutads.info/choices, though please note this setting is removed if you delete your cookies; d) By confirming permanent deactivation in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers via the link http:// www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that, in this case, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions on this website.

(6) The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6 (1) Sentence 1 lit. of the GDPR. You can find further information about Google's data protection here: http:// www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org. Google complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Section 10 Facebook Custom Audiences

(1) The website also uses the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function provided by Facebook Inc. ("Facebook"). This enables website users to be shown interest-related advertisements ("Facebook Ads") during their visit to the social network Facebook or other websites that also use the procedure. The benefit of this to us lies in showing you advertising that is relevant to you, in order to make our website more interesting to you.

(2) As a result of the marketing tool used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Facebook server. We have no influence over the scope and further use of the data that Facebook collects through the use of this tool. We therefore wish to inform you about the following according to the current state of our knowledge: the integration of Facebook Custom Audiences provides Facebook with the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website or clicked on one of our adverts. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or you are not logged in, there is still a possibility that the provider may discover and store your IP address and other personal data that identifies you.

(3) Logged-in users can deactivate the "Facebook Custom Audiences" function by visiting https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#.

(4) The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6 (1) Sentence 1 lit f. of the GDPR. For more information on how Facebook processes data, please visit https:// www.facebook.com/about/privacy.
