LED DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS SUITABLE FOR 95 % OF ALL MODERN VEHICLE FRONTS – WE GOT THE HANG OF IT!
"In the beginning it was just a stick". This is how it all began at NOLDEN in 2007. We were one of the first suppliers to offer LED Daytime Running Lights for retrofitting. However, as the front mounting options for most vehicles are never flat or at the right angle, we have developed a range of DRLs which compliment most vehicles. Only with a sympathetic contour will the lights look like an original equipment installation.
The following Daytime Running Light variants compliment 95% of all current front vehicle contours:
- Daytime Running Light "NCC® Universal”
- Daytime Running Light "NCC® Classic”
- Daytime Running Light "NCC® Slim”
- Daytime Running Light "NCC® Slim 500”
- Daytime Running Light "NCC® Short 3”
All variants have the latest light guide technology, powder-coated die-cast aluminium housings and ECE and EMC approvals.
Mounting position of the DRL
A brief technical note: Determining the correct installation position for a Daytime Running Light is not difficult. The vehicle’s X-axis determines the correct installation. The reference surface for NCC® LED Daytime Running Lights is always the rear heat sink so if this is flush or parallel with the X-axis, the alignment is correct. This does not apply to the installation of round DRLs where the light’s lens is marked “Top” and this must be adhered to.
Rotation about X-axis
The maximum angle allowed from the horizontal is given in degrees. This rotation must be observed and recorded in the light installation documentation.

NCC® X-LINE LIGHT GUIDE
The NCC® "X-LINE" Light Guide a multifunctional and impressively compact light. With the latest LED light guide technology the Daytime Running Light and Position Light functions guarantee very homogeneous illumination. 2D drawings, 3D CAD data and other data available on request.
NCC® Short Line 3
A daytime running and position light, this all rounder has been very popular with our customers for many years. With light guide technology, 360° functional rotation and compact dimensions, this light has universal application and installation potential. The inner bezel is available in chrome or black. Also available as pure indicator or three-function-multifunctional light.
